6 Soft Bread Rolls
6 Slices of Ham
6 Slices of Swiss Cheese
6 Slices of Smoked Turkey
30g Salted Butter
2 Teaspoons (10g) Sugar
1 Teaspoon of Dried Onion (Or fresh crushed Garlic)
2 Teaspoons of Poppy Seeds
1/2 Teaspoon Dijon Mustard
Chef's Tip
Always wash your hands very well before cooking or baking.
You can swap and change the ham and turkey for anything you like, such as Sliced Chorizo or pepperoni.
To make it healthier, reduce the cheese and don't add the sugar!
STEP 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C
STEP 2
Slice your bread rolls in half across the centre, and lay the bottoms on the baking tray.
STEP 3
Put a piece of ham on the roll bottom, followed by a piece of Swiss cheese.
STEP 4
Then add a piece of Turkey followed by Provolone cheese (or any other cheese). Then put the top of the bread roll on.
STEP 5
In a small sauce pan, melt your butter and add the sugar, dried onions, poppy seeds and dijon mustard (if you have no dried onions, you can add 1 crushed garlic clove instead).
STEP 6
Brush the mixture on to each bread roll top using a pastry brush.
STEP 7
Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes.
STEP 8
Take the rolls out and serve!
